Francis & Jules here, very sorry for the late update! We hope you are safe&sound and eager to play Dance of Muses (for example on Board Game Arena, through our Facebook Group)!
🏪Late Pledge opened on Gamefound!
Unfortunately, we cannot open the Pledge Manager for you yet. We are having some troubles to understand and resolve, which will lead us to choose which platform to use.
So please be patient a little longer, and meanwhile you can spread the word linking to the Late Pledge on Gamefound.
What's new respect to the Kickstarter campaign?
You'll be happy to know that as our first supporters, you got all the best deals during Dance of Muses Kickstarter campaign! New backers will find higher prices and missing rewards on Gamefound Late Pledge.
You could spot 3 new rewards that you never saw on Kickstarter: "Chosen by the Gods", "Gemstone-Hard Gamer" and a new version of "Artist's delight".
These offers are bundle which includes the Playmat and the Gemstone Dice, but with the new prices of the Late Pledge. So: don't panic! :D If you purchased a Playmay and/or the Gemstones Dice through the Kickstarter campaign, you got them at the best price possible!
During the Pledge Manager, though, you will be able to upgrade or modify your pledge as you want... and even swap to one of the new reward tiers of the Late Pledge.

We're endlessly grateful for your love and support!
Thrilled to share, we've raised over $42,000/€39,000 (more than 1300% funded!) from 970+ incredible backers. This is a whole new level confronted with our previous campaigns during the last 10 years (we use crowdfunding since 2015!) It's truly remarkable and awe-inspiring. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Now What’s Next?
We know some of you are very experienced with Kickstarter, but we are also aware we have many first-time backers with us, and we would like to let you know the next 3 steps of the process.
1. PAYMENTS
Kickstarter will now process your payment. This can take up to 10-14 days for the payments to be processed. We don't have any control over this process as it will be in the hands of the Kickstarter platform. So please be patient!
F.A.Q.: What happens if my payment failed?
Kickstarter will send you instructions on what to do and attempt to process your pledge using the credit card you provided. We understand that some of you may have encountered issues, so Kickstarter will make another attempt every 2 days, for a week.
Often, the problem relates to 'two-factor authorization.' Please pay closer attention to your bank's messages in the upcoming days. Additionally, this might occur if your card has expired or if the payment has been flagged as fraudulent (which happens quite frequently). Here are some possible solutions:
Ensure that you are logged into your Kickstarter account.
If you're experiencing issues with the first card, try using a different one.
Contact your bank to resolve any card-related issues (sometimes, you simply need to authorize the payment).
Follow the steps Kickstarter advises, and they will re-charge your card in a few days. If the problem persist, email [email protected]. If it that doesn't work, message us at [email protected], will try to help and fix.
2. KICKSTARTER LATE PLEDGE IS OPEN!
Did your best friend/Board game lover miss the deadline, or do you simply want to help us grow the community? We have entered the fresh-new "Late Pledge" managed within Kickstarter! Just continue sharing the link to this campaign!
Some of the rewards has been removed (so long, "Art collector bundle"! 😔), and some got a price increment... but people can continue to pledge until we'll open the Pledge Manager, which will be...
3. PLEDGE MANAGER (GAMEFOUND)
In a month (more or less), we will email you a link to our Pledge Manager and instructions on how to use it. Don't worry: it's easy!
Gamefound is a website where you will be able to login and manage your pledge for Dance of Muses. This will allow you to:
Enter your shipping address + phone number + additional info (languages, reward preferences, etc...)
UPGRADE your Pledge/Add additional items, including multiple copies of the game and add-ons, to your reward.
Pay the remaining balance (shipping costs + upgrades)
4. WORKING HARD ON THE GAME: JOIN OUR FB GROUP!
From today, we will work hard to make Dance of Muses the wonderful game you totally deserverd. While the game is basically ready, we still have a nice lot of work to do on the unlocked Stretch Goals, especially the Solo Mode. As usual, most of this process will be shared within our Private Group on Facebook. If you are not yet part of it, we warmly invite you to JOIN IT.

Leonardo is one of our Testimonial (you can hear what he thinks of DoM in a video within our campaign), and is on Kickstarter right now with his and his friend Emanuele's project: Light Speed Arena.
Light Speed is a 2003 game which has been transformed into a totally new game with a completely different approach, and is set to become a classic even in the decade to come.
This has been achieved thanks to Leo&Ema tech project: TABLESCOPE.
Tablescope is exactly what I expect from technology applied to board games.
Arthur Clarke said that you can't distinguish a sufficiently advanced technology from magic, and this is exactly the case: Tablescope is magic.
It speeds up and sharpens those dynamics that normally create downtime and break the flow of play. What remains is the fun, enhanced by the use of the app and its aesthetics.
The Tablescope team has done an outstanding job, and should be rewarded if only for their courage and the innovation they bring.
Absolutely have a look at this project, and see if it worths your attention and money, like Dance of Muses did.
😭 NO 40K = NO FINAL STRETCH GOAL 😭
Unfortunately, we didn't manage to reach 40.000€ before the end of the campaign, so we are not unlocking the final secret Stretch Goal. Also, you will never know what it would have been...
😂 JOKING, HERE YOU GO! 😂
Come ooon! We reached 39.600€, and with the Late Pledge we are almost at 40K anyway, so OF COURSE WE'LL UNLOCK THE FINAL STRETCH GOAL!
But as we anticipated, YOU HAVE TO VOTE FOR IT AGAIN! Here are the choices:
A. Original Soundtrack by Deborah Scotto Deborah already wrote the music you can hear in our video trailer. With this Stretch Goal we'll hire her to write more tracks, for you to use while you are squeezing your brain thinking about your next move while you play.
B. Embroidered Bag Repechage! Ahah, the unlucky loser of every votation receives its last chance to exist in the game! xD
C. Mysterious Muse Cover Sleeve Some of you asked for it, with this specific request for a "sleeve" that you can put (or not) over the official cover of the game, so: here's the temporary mockup cover we used for the early stages of promotion. :D

This campaign has been an incredible journey, just like the one in The Lord of the Rings :D

As you surely have experienced in many other games, an internal plastic tray is a solid comfort tool to keep your game components in order when you put it back on the shelf, or around the world with you. We don’t have a custom design yet, but it will be thought for holding even the components from the expansions (not the playmat, sorry, it’s too big!)
In the final 48 hours rush, you SOLD OUT the limited "Artist's Delight" reward, which includes a unique, handmade drawing of a Muse, by our amazing artist Sara Marino!
We asked her if we could restock, and she gave us permission to release 5 NEW UNITS. THESE ARE THE LAST ONES! No other drawings will be made, making this 10 rewards totally unique.

The Cosmos Playmat is the most requested AddOn, and for good reasons! With its 31,5x31,5 inches size it's a HUGE space where you can play infinite Dance of Muses games without even barely wear the Tiles.
After the Cloth Bag, the Gemstones Dice Set are on the rampage, finely crafted by MistyMountaingGaming based on our design, and coming with a lifetime warranty! (Ignore the trasparent dice: they are cool but not really readable, so we discarded them in favor of the gemstones ones: purple Amethyst, red/orange Aventurine and white Labradorite!)
Also DecKreative, our randomizer deck for every gamer and creative person conquered your curiosity. Did you know that you can play a Dance of Muses variant with it? Tyche, the goddess of fortune, let you draw 2 cards at the beginning of your turn: choose a Muse on one card, and the 6 sided die on the other, and adjust the Muse in play with that value. You can even close the game! Crazy!
We just decided that the poster will be PRINTED ON BOTH SIDES, because you deserve it. So, every poster will have two designs!
